I'm not yet awake enough to be certain, but ISTR that we have the backup forum set up to require 10 posts before certain things can be done, and that might be one of them.

...how do I go about getting an avatar? (Or "personalized picture?") I've tried the "Profile" page, but while it's let me set some personal information I can't seem to select an avatar picture and keep it.

We'll be there for 10 days and I'll be gadget free other than my Kindle, so I won't be around to lurk for a week and a half. Hopefully by then the old board will be back up? I'm sure you'll figure it out, Randall.  I hope you will have a great (and safe) trip. With luck, the old board will be back In a new form) next week. |

It's 9:30 pm, and plane leaves in approximately 12 hours (but we're leaving at 4am to drive 2 hours to JFK airport and check in and all that fun ****). I'm going with the Fiancé and his family to the Cayman Islands!! I've been looking forward to this trip for months you have no idea. We'll be there for 10 days and I'll be gadget free other than my Kindle, so I won't be around to lurk for a week and a half. Hopefully by then the old board will be back up? I'm sure you'll figure it out, Randall. But anyways, prayers and wishes for a safe flight/trip are obviously appreciated. I'm so excited!!!! I do pray that you will have a safe trip, that everything will turn out well, and that you will take home many wonderful memories. I'm taking a little vacation myself; I'm leaving next Wednesday (5/24) for St. Louis and ISDC 2017 (International Space Development Conference...National Space Society). I'll be back the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Just me this time, but I've got a Really Big Trip planned with my parents after Labor Day. |
