oh now. Don't be so narrow-minded. There are lots of women that lots of other women think are attractive, even if their straight as heck, like me. I had a really fun dream about having sex with an old friend of mine who is bi, although we never did anything like that IRL. And I've had several gay men get crushes on me, in my time. Just b/c you find someone attractive doesn't mean you actually want to do them.

Something else to add to my list of thoughts that make me smile:  When someone calls me a pervert simply because I am Grin

*smirk*

Calling you a pervert makes me smile (too bad I can't do the voice for you over the internet, it's even funnier that way)... Cheesy

Everyone's is different.  Then again, you're talking too someone who doesn't find Brad Pitt attractive in the slightest bit Wink

He was vaguely attractive in Interview, but has just really gone downhill, IMO.

Well, there is more about Alan Rickman than being attracitive in the 'usual' sense.
He is a hell of an actor. Great. Just great.

There is that.

No, I haven't, but I really want to; I've heard it's really intense, though.

Yeah, I'll agree to that.  But then again, I obviously like the vampire-looking type.

Good point... as a straight girl who's had girl-crushes... one of which on a friend who looks so much like Angelina Jolie it's spooky!!!! Onlyl difference was she had purple hair in a pixie cut...

Take that! lol.

And Alan Rickman is just fine by me!

More OT... This whole backup board scenario makes me smile. lol. And so does Albannach!!! Smiley You can stream them free on their website, I've discovered. woot. http://www.albannachmusic.com/

Mmm... Scottish drummers.

So.  Name something that makes you smile just thinking about it.  What's something that makes you grin?

for me, it was watching my husband try to lure swuggy into the car by dangling a stuffed animal in front of him like a carrot.  TOO CUTE!  (I almost fell over I was laughing so hard)

When some of the things my kids do remind me of the evilness I had (still have?) in me... It really gets annoying though when I'm trying to be "mean mommy" and punish them, but want so much to burst out laughing.  I sometimes have to tell them I need a chance to calm down... that usually acts as double duty, they think I'm extra angry (thus making behavior perfect for at least an extra half hour), and I get to go crack up.

I haven't seen rasputin, but so far, he's seriously physically attractive in just about every role I've seen him in.

Mmm... Scottish drummers.

Now I'm smiling.  Grin  I just realized they'll be at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games next weekend, as will the Killdares (http://www.killdares.com).  Looks like I may have to go this year, after all!

Yeah, I've seen Albannach live twice so far (missed Celtic Fling at the PA Ren Faire this year however!) and they are *awesome* live. I don't care what stereo system you have, there is NOTHING like hearing bagpipes and drums like that in real life. Grin They are so high energy, and they put on a great show.

I was an actor when I first saw them at the Ren Faire. All the cast was backstage before the Finale show, and Albannach was a special guest for the weekend so they were there to play too. Of course all us girls were, like, *gaga* over them. Jamesie and Kyle came up to us and started up a conversation... which would have been amazing except that we couldn't understand a word they were saying!!! lol. For speaking in dialect (similar to a Yorkshire) and being around those speaking in Scottish dialect all day, you'd think we'd have had a slightly better handle on the accent when it came to native speakers... Nope! lol. It was classic. They're very nice guys though, from what we could understand once they slowed down. Smiley

And Killdares sound pretty good too! I've heard of them in passing, but never really listened to them.

Watching my kids sleep, watching my dad trying to get on a hammock and fall face first into the ground (still makes me laugh after 8 years), and Vin Diesel. lol

Hello. I'm new but loved this topic.

I think of the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Oh, but he's so much more than Snape. Although at this point I can't imagine anyone doing anywhere close to his spectacular job as Snape, and I am looking forward to six immensely...It's gonna be intense.

And his role as the sheriff was so gross and sketchy and wonderful.

I agree, Rickman gives the role just the right level of creepiness.  The only problem I have with him is that he is twice the age of the Snape in the books.
