Thanks, it's raining here.

Anyone got alternative ideas on how to celebrate in a downpour? Nothing too alternative please Wink...(my neighbors are Christian!)

It's icky here today too. Sad Oh well, I'm not too big on 4th of July anyway. I was mostly upset it was raining this morning because I wanted to go out in the hot tub to celebrate my three day weekend. hahaha.

I actually didn't even have anything to do today, until my boyfriend says last night "So... are you inviting me down there or are you coming up to see me tomorrow?!" lol. So now I'm going to see him and his family. *fingers crossed I don't say anything to put my foot in my mouth!!!* Wish me luck. *snort*

Could you perhaps asking one of your deities to send the rain to SE VA or NE NC (after midnight tonight of course)?  There are horrible wildfires in the region and last night I couldn't sleep because of the smoke.

Yeah, it's quite unusual for this region to get wildfires but it has been so dry lately.

We could certainly use some rain hereabouts as well, b/c it is so dry. Fortunately we are close enough to the ocean and the wind is blowing from the west, so we can't smell the smoke that is still burning down Monterey county and Big Sur. At least it hasn't killed anyone, so far. But no fireworks are even being sold around here, not legally anyway.
