Quote
Pagans are heading to a North Gower community. They are holding a three-day festival in the stunning village of Llanmadoc - and some locals are far from happy about it.

Several have got in touch with their ward councillor, Richard Lewis, demanding to know where the pagans are going to stay, and whether extra police will be patrolling.

Umm and I was in Swansea myself last Sunday. Whilst on the Gower we stopped for lunch at a pub. Visiting the bathroom someone had scrawled "Jesus loves you" on the inside of the door. Some one else had added " the Goddess does too. Blessed Be"which made me smile.

Might need to post my own comment on that web page.

eh, tiny little minds are in every size community. Anyway, we've got Kathy Gifford over here calling us "nasty" on national television.

Ditto on the tiny minds.  And what's this about Kathy Gifford???  Sheesh, people these days.  I'm beginning to think common sense and common courtesy are a bit of a recessive trait anymore.

Do many people actually care what Kathy Gifford says?

It was a *huge big issue on some of my more girly witch lists. I never watch any of those shows, so I really don't know.

I guess she made a comment about "dirty nasty pagans" in a piece, but I didn't see it, so can't say exactly what the context was. It was a hot topic on some of the kitchen witch/crafty yahoo lists I read.

That was my thought, too.  I didn't even know she was still on television, let alone that there was still a demographic who cared Grin

Erm, yeah, my thoughts exactly.  I thought she basically dropped off the face of the earth after she left Regis...  Undecided

That is really a very nice way to take the sting out of potentially polemical comments. I plan on going to Swansea University next year for my exchange term and I was very pleased to see they have got a Pagan student union, too.

Who knows, I might just get my first ritual done there Wink

And I didn't even know she was still around to have a big following. While I don't follow TV stars much and am therefore a poor sample set, this is the first time I remember hearing of her since she left that morning show she did with Regis.

She is on the Today show, now.

*blinks* she is?  I've watched the Today show, and I don't think she's regularly there - I'd've noticed.

She is on there later in the show...not the time slot that Jane Pauley and Katie Couric hosted:
